The Vaughn-Turner family Bible is currently located in Blount County, Alabama, kept in a safe place by a descendant of Josephine Frances Vaughn Turner.
These images are from the original Bible, which is now very fragile. Some pages are torn into multiple pieces.
It appears that Elizabeth Mapp Vaughn purchased the Bible on March 14, 1885, and began listing her family at that time. Shortly after her death in 1895, the handwriting in the Bible changed, and I'm assuming it was her youngest daughter's handwriting, Fannie Vaughn Turner, as the Bible began listing Turner relatives. The Bible is now known as the Turner Bible by the family. There was indication in some correspondence dated 1964 that some of the entries did not match two different Wall Bibles. The owners of these Wall Bibles is unknown at this time.
