Prince Unknown Relatives
These unidentified photos were found with Maggie Prince's other photos, but these have no names, and no one we have contacted yet has been able to identify the people. These are very likely photos of the Prince family and their close relatives, and maybe a few friends. Her in-laws included Vaughn, Hallmark, Cain, Sims, and Hazelrig. Her aunts and uncles included Gibbs, McCauley, Beason, Griffin, Torbett, Gilliland, Hendrix, Barnes, and Sulser. Her grandparents were McCauley, Knox, Gartman, and Pledger. Maggie lived in Blount County, Alabama, but many relatives from St. Clair and Etowah County, Alabama, and Texas also regularly mailed her photos of their families.
Aunt Maggie was very protective of her photos, which she treasured. She would show them to you personally, but no one was allowed to see them without her. Over the years people forgot who she said was in the photo, especially if it was previous generations, or the entire family had moved out west.
