Thos F. Hood petitions for adminis. Son of decd who died intestate 10th day of May 1862. Doctor B. Graves and Andrew J. Hood security bond. To sell land SW 1/4 of Sec 10 & the NE 1/4 and East 1/2 of NW 1/4 of sec 15 in T11R1E, in Blount Co. Petitioner says land cannot be equitably divided among heirs. Heirs are as follows: Rachel Hood, Saran intermarried with Theophilus Neely, Thos F. Hood, Martha A. wife of Lafayette Graves and Austinell Hood all over 21 years old and Rachel M. - Wm A. & Jas E. W. Hood under 21 years all reside in this county. Ed N. Wood assigned as guardian of minors. Rachel Hood is widow of deced, and entitled to have life estate assigned her.
