A lot of my families who started out in other counties had children who eventually moved to Jefferson County, including the surnames of Vaughn, Gray, Gillespy, Prince, Trammell, Arnold, Gibbs, Kennedy and Higginbotham.
I enjoy visits to cemeteries to find graves of relatives and take pictures.
