John Caleb Bice
Died, Oct. 26, 1928, Rev. J.C. Bice aged 83 years, at his home near Ashville, where he had lived for the past thirty-six years. He leaves to mourn his departure 3 sons, and 4 daughters. N.S. Bice, N.A. Bice, J.W. Bice, Miss Mary Bice, Mrs. M.N. Williams, Mrs. T.J. Williams (Aunt Sarah), Mrs. Missouri Davis. His place in his community will be hard to fill. He was a loving father and a true friend. He lived the Gospel at home that he began to preach in 1876. He was an Old Confederate Soldier. He was buried at Friendship Cemetery by Masons.
