HARVIL D. HIGGINBOTHAM, age 54, of Pinson, died June 21, 2000. He was a former employee with the City of Birmingham. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 24, at 11 am at Masseyline Church of God with burial in Masseyline Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Jones officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Survivors: son, Allan (Judy) Higginbotham of Opelika; daughter, Janet Dowling of Phoenix, Ariz; grandchildren, Lauren, Ethan, and Emma Higginbotham; parents, Earl and Margaret Higginbotham of Pinson; brothers, Rodney (alice) Higginbotham of Pinson and Kenneth (Joy) Higginbotham of Trafford; sister, Teresa (David) Singletary of Sun City, Ariz; nephew, nathan Singletary; nieces, Amy Miller, Melanie Mecham, and Kesley Higginbotham.
