THOMAS, HERBERT, 83, of Warrior, passed away Friday, April 3, 1998. He was an Air Craft Worker for Hayes International and a member of Warrior First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 1998, 1:00 pm, graveside, at Warrior Cemetery. Dr. Paul H. Moore officiating. Survivors: son, Jerry Thomas of Warrior; sister, Billie Bennett of Morris; brother, Mitchell Thomas of Birmingham; three grandchildren. Oakwood-Blackwood Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Nellie Higginbotham, 76, of Cullman Rt. 1 died Monday. Funeral was today at New Prospect Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs Higginbotham is survived by her husband, W. G. Higginbotham; three sons, Hick, Wayne and Don Ray Higginbotham, three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Baulet, Mrs. Mildred Rye and Mrs. Jackie Fell; five sisters, Mrs. Lela Moon, Mrs. Letha Nelson, Mrs. Roxie Thomas, Mrs. Annie Russell and Mrs. Opal Ruff, and three brothers, Willie, Woodrow and Sammie Wilson.
