PELL CITY - Funeral service for Billy Joe Jones, 35, will be Saturday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Jones died Nov. 24 in Birmingham.
He is survived by his father, Frank Jones of Coal City; sister, Doris Jones of Coal City; brothers, Jeff Campbell (Joan) of Coal City and Joey Jones of Coal City; his grandmother, Carm L. Jones of Pell City; and one nephew.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

ROBBIE LOU CAMPBELL

RAGLAND - Funeral service for Robbie Lou Campbell, 74, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Ragland with the Rev. Jonathan Whisenant and the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Campbell died June 25. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Ragland.

She is survived by one daughter, Edith Foster of Ragland; two brothers, Doc Campbell and Herbert Campbell of Ragland; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body may be viewed at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

Ragland. With regret we chronicle the death of Mrs. Henry Campbell, which occurred Saturday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Joe Wood. The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Sunday afternoon and the remains were interred in the Ragland Cemetery. "Grandma Campbell" as she was affectionately designated by those who knew her, had lived to the ripe old age of 102 years. Her husband who died about two years ago was 105 years of age at his death.

MR. AUTMON PHILLIPS.  Services for Mr. Autmon Phillips, 80 of Ragland, Alabama were Monday, January 21, 1995, at 2:00 pm from Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Will Barber and the Rev. Doug Ford officiating.  Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his 5 daus., Ann Campbell, Katy Jackson, Linda Southern, Patsy Yarbrough and Cheryl Bryant; 2 bros., Raymond Phillips and Hester Lett; 7 grandchildren, Kathy Vandersommen, Patti Harrison, Donna Smith, Stacy Southern, Diane Kennedy, Rusty Yarbrough and Katie Bryant; and 3 great grandchildren, Jonathan Yarbrough, Christen Southern and Kim Harrison.

Mr. Phillips was a native and lifelong resident of Ragland.  He was retired from National Cement Company, veteran of WW II and a member and deacon of Providence Baptist Church for 50 years.

MRS. MAURICE CHAMLIS, 61, passed away September 17 [1979]. She is survived by her husband, Ellis Chamlis, Ragland, daughter Miss Alice Chamlis of Ragland, three sisters, Mrs. Viola Phillips, Mrs. Leona White, both of Ragland and Mrs. Joyce Tuck of Oneonta.

Also, two brothers, Joe Gay Campbell and Frazier Campbell, both of Ragland.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Gray's Chapel Baptist Church with interment in the Ragland Methodist Church Cemetery, Rev. Douglas Ford and Rev. Arthur Greenwood officiating and Kilgroe directing.

ELBERT L. BICE , age 54, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Ragland, died Monday, March 5 [1979].

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Phyllis Bice, one son, Everett Bice of Chicago, two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Peppler of Danbury, Wis., Mrs. Carolyn Wilmsen of Chicago, two stepsons, Edward and Timothy Fitzgerald, both of Chicago, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Logodzinski and Miss Phyllis Fitzgerald, both of Chicago, two brothers, Emeris and Curtis Bice, both of Ragland, two sisters, Mrs., Ethel Campbell of Ragland and Mrs. Cecil Campbell of Chicago, nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 9 from Gray's Chapel Baptist Church with interment in Macedonia Cemetery, Rev. Arthur Greenwood Officiated and Kilgroe directed.

Mrs. Dorothy Campbell Garrett,56, of 2042 Montreat Parkway, Hoover, who died Tuesday, was a Birmingham native, a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and had lived in Jasper 18 years. Graveside services will be at 3 pm. Thursday at Elmwood, Valley Chapel directing. Survivors include her husband, Roy J. Garrett; two daughters, Mrs. William E. Reynolds Jr., Jasper, and Mrs. Jerry Hutto, Covington, La, and her mother, Mrs. Florence M. McCroskey, Birmingham.
