Pg 332 James W. Little to Robert Higginbotham
The State of Alabama Blount County.
Know all men by these presents that I James W. Little have this day given up to Robert Higginbotham of said county in trust, a certain waggon belonging to me. It being all the waggon that I own, to secure to the said Robert Higginbotham, the sum of Eighty dollars that said Higginbotham is bound to pay for me in the Bank of the State of Alabama on the first day of January next. And now if said Higginbotham has said money to pay, he is at liberty thereby authorized to sell said waggon, to the highest bidder, giving good and lawful notice by advertisements, but if I the said James W. Little pay to the said Higginbotham the said sum of Eighty dollars by the said first day of January next, the said waggon to remain the property of said James W. Little & the waggon to remain in the possession & for the use of the said James W. Little until said money is due and not paid. In which whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of September, 1834. James W. Little. Signed sealed acknowledged and delivered in presents of Peter Lity(?) his mark, Isaac Little (his mark).
Isaac Little says he saw the said James W. Little sign seal & deliver this deed to said Robert Higginbotham.
