Gardendale Chapel with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Visitation Friday, September 24, 6 pm to 8 pm at Gardendale Chapel. BETTY COOLEY DORMAN, of Guntersville, died June 23, 2000, at her residence. She grew up in Jefferson County, attended Bradford, Mortimore Jordan, and graduated from West Jefferson High School. She was a cheerleader and honor student and received her degree from the University of Oklahoma. She retired from the US Army Missile Command as a Supervisory Procurement Analyst. She is survived by daughers, Deborah Hinton and Lisa Britton; son, Tyrus, Jr; sisters, Dot Mays and Rhonda Gravlee; one half brother, John Cooley, Jr.

MR. MARVIN E. (SON) HILTON, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 1999. He was 91 years old and had lived in Bayview for sixty-two years. He was a charter member and deacon at Bayview Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of deacons for over thirty years.

He was retired from US Steel and was past Master of Milton H. Fies Masonic Lodge #722. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Hilton.

Mrs. Gracie McCulley, 81, of Homewood, died Tuesday. Funeral will be at 10am Thursday at Angwin Ensley, with buial in Oakland. Survivors include four sons, Pete, Ralph, Robert, and Charles McCulley, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Burleson and Mrs. Sybil Carmack, all of Birmingham; a brother, Harold Whitten, and a sister, Mrs. Marie Wright, both of Gadsden.

Floyd McCulley, 74, of 237 52nd St. N, died Sunday. He was a native of Bibb County and was a cab driver with Yellow Cab Co. Funeral will be at 1 pm Tuesday at Angwin with burial in Oakland. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace W. McCulley; four sons, Ralph, Charles, Pete and Robert McCulley, all of Birmingham, and two daughters, Mrs. Sybil Carmack, Titusville, Fla, and Mrs. Betty Burleson, Birmingham.
