HIGGINBOTHAM, SARAH FRANCES REYNOLDS, age 86, passed away December 15, 2007. She was a homemaker and beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Robert W. Higginbotham (Shelley), J. T. Higginbotham (Linda), Col. W. N. Higginbotham, Ret. (Jane), and Andrew R. Higginbotham (Jo Ann); daughter, Sue Rejonis; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Remlap Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel.

Mrs. Dorothy Campbell Garrett,56, of 2042 Montreat Parkway, Hoover, who died Tuesday, was a Birmingham native, a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and had lived in Jasper 18 years. Graveside services will be at 3 pm. Thursday at Elmwood, Valley Chapel directing. Survivors include her husband, Roy J. Garrett; two daughters, Mrs. William E. Reynolds Jr., Jasper, and Mrs. Jerry Hutto, Covington, La, and her mother, Mrs. Florence M. McCroskey, Birmingham.
