RAGLAND Funeral service for Leona White, 89, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Ives Harris Jr. and the Rev. Ted St. John officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. White died Oct. 24 at her residence. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit White.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Neal White and wife Agnes of Ragland; two sisters, Viola Phillips of Ragland and Joyce Tuck of Oneonta; two brothers, Frazier Campbell and Joe Campbell of Ragland; special nieces, Alice Chamlis and Barbara Guthrie; and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Thrift, James Wallace Trammell, David Franklin, Dennis Franklin, Gene Newman and Kenneth Crowe.
Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

HAYGOOD, MR. WILLIAM ROGER, age 58, of Montgomery, died July 5, 1998 in Birmingham. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Lamar Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Billingsley. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Mary Haygood, Montgomery; mother, Mrs. Lillian Estelle Haygood, Mongomery; sons, Robert Haygood and Ryan Haygood, both of Atlanta, Ga; brothers, Lonnie Haygood and Dr. Langston Haygood, both of Birmingham; sisters, Mrs. Judy Crowe and Mrs. Rise Marxer, both of Birmigham; 14 grandchildren.
