Letter from Talladega Al dated Feb 1st 1915 from Mrs. E. E. Watson, widow of A. G. Watson, A. G. Lost an arm in the war, letter from R. H. McKinney “ during he year 1862 the said A. G. Watson was transferred from some regiment, the number of which he does not now remember, to Company H 25th Alabama Infantry CSA; that to the best of his recolllection that he exchanged places with one Tom Warren, so he could be in the same company and regiment with his brother, Tom Watson, and brother-in-law, Henry Abbott....wounded in the battle of Atlanta... he died 27 Jan 1901....Widows form - PO - 415 West Monroe St, Jacksonville Fla, pension # 22129, living w/ daughter, born Talladega Al on Jul 22, 1849, father John L. Leay, who died in Talladega Co, AL. Husband Abbert G. Watson, married 1869, he died 1901. She lived in Fulton County Ga for a year., husband enlisted in Talladega Co, AL. 1928 letter to pension dept asking that she be changed from St. Clair Co to Calhoun Co on the widows pension roll.

Wounded at the battle of Dallosi?, lost one finger in the state of GA, can't make a living due to old age and blindness, is age 68 at time of this statement (11 Jul 1910), PO is Searles Al, Lock 16, April 1897 soldiers or sailors application states he is engaged in the business of carrying mail.

Husband name Andrew Jackson Watson, married Crenshaw Co, he died Butler Co Oct 29, 1915. She has been married more than once, other husband Benjamin Robert Tobias. Andrew enlisted Greenville AL, has $130 in bank Dec 1920. Cliff Tobias states he knows Mrs Mary Watson and she has not remarred since the death of her husband.

Has 40acres in Geneva Co, was wounded at Battle of Atlanta in GA, is age 57 at time of application (11 Feb 1904) PO is Martha AL. “We have examined Mr. Watson and he has bleeding piles and has had for 20 years he is very feeble and has no one to take care of him we recommend that he draw.” Widows form - he died Apr 2 1926 at Hacoda Geneva Co, AL, was married to him near Troy in Pike Co Al on Sept 1892. She was born near Troy Pike Co AL mar 31 1866 and she is 60 years 3 months 16 days. Not lived in other states. Is now living with her children in Hacoda Geneva Co, their names are: Mrs Bessie Walters, Mack (Matthew marked out, and Mack written over it) Watson, Miss Mattie Watson, Man Watson, all of Hacoda AL. Died Feb 25 1945 (who died, her or husband - it doesn't make clear). Letter from probate judge dated Feb 2, 1927 asking widow to fill in blanks - I am the widow of Boling Perry Watson I am 65 years of age I was born Mar 8 1862 I was married to my husband on Dec 23 1886, signed Anna S. Watson. He is on the pension roll of Dallas Co, he was born at Loundes Co, AL. Widow application - he died Nov 13, 1922 at Burnsville AL in Dallas Co, AL, married to him at Anniston in Calhoun Co on Dec 3 1886. She was born at Mobile, Mobile Co, AL on Mar 8, 1862 and her age is 60 years 10 months 7 days. Is living in own home. Children are: Mrs J. T. Rasberry, Birmingham, AL, Miss Ruth Watson, Anniston AL. Mrs. Rasberry lives with her husband and Miss Ruth Watson is a stenographer. Form dated 15 Jan 1923. Another widows blank in Calhoun Co - Anna Sockley Watson, PO 504 Goodwin Ave, Anniston Al, living with Mrs. J. T. Rasberry, was born Mobile, father was John Mastic Stockley who died in Mobile 1879, she married Boling Perry Watson in Anniston AL 1886, he died Burnsville AL 1922, was married previously to W. P. Cole, married Oct 19 1880 in Burnsville Dallas Co, AL. Husband enlisted Montgomery AL was wounded Battle of Statesboro SC on Nov 5 1864.

Watson, C. Y. , pensioner Watson, Nancy A, Lauderdale AL, pvt 32nd Tenn Regt. C. W. Lemay....says he is acquainted with Nancy A. Waston and knows her to be the wife of C. Y. Watson who was killed on the 20th day of Sep 1863, and that she has not remarried since his death. Has letter to widow from his lieutenant informing her of his death and the circumstances.

He has filled out an indepth statement of service form. Had to apply several times.
