GRIFFIN, JENNIE J. Age 74, of Pembroke Pines, Flordia, passed away October 2, 1996. Devoted wife to the late Sewell Griffin; beloved mother of Richard Griffin, Michael Griffin, and Donna Griffin Arit; adoring grandmother of Jason, Jessica, Matthew, Paula, Marie, Alexandra, Mackenzie, and Griffin. She was one of seven children: Roy Lee, William, Arthur, and Nethelia Gray, Mava Skelton, and Ada Ruth Nichols. Mrs. Griffin was born in Majestic, Alabama and raised in Tarrant, Alabama. She moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1961 and continued her 41 year career as a supervisor for Western Union. A gathering was held Thursday at Van Orsdel Funeral Chapel, Pembroke Pines, Florida. A final visitation will be held at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, October 6, 1996 at 2:00 pm.
