The many friends are grieved to learn of the recent death of Mr. A. T. Vaughn, which occurred Thursday afternoon. The funeral services were held at Bethlehem Saturday. The entire family have our heart felt sympathy.

Dick Stevens killed by A. G. Vaughn
A foul murder was committed Sunday just beyond Summit near the Marshall county line in which Dick Stevens lost his life. The Gadsden Times-News gives the following account of killing:

Vaughn - Mrs. Arra Wynn Vaughn, age 69, Republic, Ala, passed away Monday evening at the residence. Survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Albert Gammill, Mrs. R. T. Walters and Mrs. T. C. Tabro; 2 sons, Tom Wynn, Florida; Claude Wynn, Bham, 1 brother, Gus Mason, South Carolina; 1 sister, Mrs. Mattie Ross, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Wednesday 2:30pm from Brown-Service Norwood Chapel, interment Crumley's Chapel Cemetery, Brown-Service, Norwood, directing.

ERNEST A. VAUGHN of Guntersville, formerly of Blount Co, died November 1, 1999. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 3, at 2 pm at Lemley Funeral Chapel, Oneonta, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery, Dallas, Selfville Community. Lemley Funeral Home of Oneonta directing.
