Family histories compiled by members of Inman Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Fayette County, Georgia were placed on the church website in 1998-1999. There have been changes at the church over the years, including a new website, and all the family stories were removed from the church site. The family history pages can still be found on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine . The original site appears to be a combination of 2 different accounts. To access them on the Wayback Machine, you'll need to use both these urls to get the full website: members.aol.com/InmanGA/ ---AND--- members.aol.com/AckertGA . The pages and images cross over; there may be a page on one account, but the image for that page is on the other account, and the links don't always work exactly right on the Wayback Machine.
I don't have permission to re-publish these stories from Inman Church, so they are on this site as "Private", meaning only logged in users can see them. These stories are about my family, their friends, and the church my ancestors attended in Inman, Fayette County, GA, and I don't want the stories lost to this and future generations. I have sent an email to the church, but may need to call them in case the email was lost. If / when permission is granted, these pages will be made "Public".
