Maggie's Dresser

Aunt Maggie's dresser contained many of the photos you see on this site.  it also contained her glasses, gloves, hand embroidered table covers, necklace, buttons, tatting tools, old papers, hair combs and various other items. The dresser and contents is currently owned by her niece in Blount County, Alabama.

Elizabeth Cosby Estate

Elizabeth (possibly Moore) was the wife of James Cozby, Sr.  She owned 80 acres of land in Jefferson County, Alabama, legal description W 1/2 of SE 1/4 Sec 8 T15 R1W, which was sold at public outcry on 8 Jan 1855 to settle her estate.  Partial transcript:

Campbell-McCoy Family

These pictures are some descendants of Henry Campbell who married Mary Dole.  Henry and Mary Campbell lived in Ragland, St. Clair County, Alabama and are buried at the Methodist Church.

 Pictures are primarily from their grand-daughter Harriet Campbell who married Henry Boyd McCoy.
